The Cavalier Band Program consists of over 175 students at both Damascus Middle School and Holston High School. The band has received countless awards throughout its history, and continues to strive for the highest levels of excellence and achievement. The high school band is a 13-time Virginia Honor Band by the Virginia Band and Orchestra Directors Association and has been named Grand Champion countless times in its history.
